We are currently seeking an accountable, proactive and hard working individual who is willing to learn and adapt to a wide variety of tasks, for a general Labourer position for our day shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday – Friday.
AC Metal Fabricating Ltd. is a long standing corporation in the division of Structural & Miscellaneous metal fabrications and installation. We promote and provide a supportive environment to ensure that all employees are treated with respect and provided with the latest set of tools to complete their work.
Day to Day tasks include but may not be limited to:
. Work collaboratively alongside others
. Accurately read and use a tape measure to help produce small steel parts required per drawing specification using various powered tools/machines
· Cut work pieces using powered and non-powered equipment/tools
· Moving material around the plant using overhead crane
· Unloading steel off trailers using overhead crane
· Loading steel onto trailers using overhead crane
· Loading steel on and off automated equipment.
· Accurately recording material for inventory.
· Operating a forklift
· Manual lifting.
· Sorting and organizing parts for assembly.
· Wire wheel steel I beams to get ready for paint
. Ability to lift 50 lbs
Requirements:
· Must be able to follow instruction
· Must have a reliable source of transportation
· Must know how to read imperial and metric accurately
·2 years Overhead crane experience preferred
