Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a minimum of 4–5 years in trucking or logistics sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, generating new business, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the trucking and logistics industry.
- Create and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand the company’s client base.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in trucking, transportation, or logistics sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the trucking industry, logistics processes, and freight solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in trucking software (truckmate, Xpert) and MS Office Suite.
