Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive osteopathic care, utilizing their expertise to improve patient health and well-being. This role involves working closely with patients across various age groups, including pediatrics, and collaborating with medical professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine osteopathic treatment plans.
- Perform manual therapy techniques to address musculoskeletal issues, pain management, and functional improvements.
- Maintain detailed case management records using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital or clinical settings to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients on treatment procedures, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Manage time effectively to accommodate multiple patient appointments daily.
- Stay updated on the latest osteopathic practices and medical terminology relevant to patient treatment.
- Assist in developing organizational strategies for patient flow and clinic operations.
- Document treatment progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on analysis skills and patient response.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Word processing tools for documentation and communication.
- Multilingual abilities, including French or bilingual skills, are highly desirable for serving diverse patient populations.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex medical information clearly and compassionately.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to osteopathy, nursing, acute care, pediatrics, and hospital environments.
- Mechanical knowledge beneficial for understanding equipment used during treatments.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle a busy caseload efficiently.
- Analysis skills for evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies accordingly.

Pay: $17.20-$67.24 per hour
