Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our weekend team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for guests or residents. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies as needed
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris
- Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Adhere to hotel or facility policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning or custodial roles is preferred, especially within hotel or hospitality environments
- Experience with industrial cleaning or custodial work is a plus
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
