Join our team as a Landscaper/Labourer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position involves hands-on, physical work in landscape construction, maintenance, and gardening projects. You’ll work outdoors in all weather conditions, bringing your enthusiasm and mechanical skills to every task. Whether you're planting, operating equipment, or maintaining landscapes, your efforts will help create inviting outdoor areas that clients will enjoy for years to come.
Responsibilities
Assist with the installation and upkeep of gardens, lawns, and outdoor features using hand tools and a variety of power tools.
Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering solutions under supervision.
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces vibrant.
Assist with clean up of private and commercial properties which can include garbage/debris removal, window cleaning and general outdoor maintenance.
Assist with construction projects by digging trenches, laying paving stones, or installing features under supervision.
Requirements
Previous experience in landscaping is a must. Hourly pay rate will depend on your level of experience.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools with an opportunity for higher pay if you are experienced in tool maintenance and repair.
Familiarity with irrigation/sprinkler systems is a plus but not necessary.
Ability to perform physically challenging work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Steel toed boots are required and rain gear is strongly encouraged.
Strong teamwork skills coupled with a proactive attitude toward completing tasks efficiently. Professional and polite demeanour a must around customers and the surrounding community.
A driver’s license is necessary (preferably a full licence). Must have own transportation to yard.
Please note: Hours each week do vary depending on the month/season but 25 hours/ week guaranteed with a likelihood of more based on experience.
Pay: $24.00-$33.00 per hour
