Job Overview:
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking six (6) experienced Pressure Boundary Qualified Assessors to support refurbishment projects at the Pickering site. This is a contract opportunity ideal for individuals with intermediate to senior-level experience in pressure boundary inspections and compliance within the nuclear or heavy industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and verifications of pressure boundary systems in accordance with OPG and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety protocols
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation of assessments
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify and address potential issues
- Support field inspections and quality assurance initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Intermediate to senior-level experience in pressure boundary assessment
- OPG Pressure Boundary Qualification is mandatory, BP Qualification will be accepted as an alternative
- Strong knowledge of pressure boundary systems and relevant codes/standards (e.g., ASME, CSA)
- Previous nuclear experience is mandatory
Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour
