We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work with us as a Server.
ROLE: As a Server, your role is to warmly greet guests, accurately record their order and enter it into the point-of-sale, safely deliver their food, and collect payment. Most importantly, your role requires you to make your guests feel at home and provide a level of service that makes them feel cared for.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that your section is clean and ready for service

Greet guests warmly and as your authentic self

Record the order accurately and enter it into the point-of-sale system (we use TouchBistro)

Be able to account for modifications and allergies
-
Coordinate with the kitchen and dining room support staff to ensure the timely preparation of food and beverages

Deliver food accurately and safely to the table
-
Organize fridges, and salad prep area, rotating products on a first-in-first-out basis

Clean and maintain a sanitary workspace - using the necessary cleaning products
Assist in the various side-work necessary to support the dining room: filling up salt and pepper shakers, wiping tables and counters, preparing milkettes and creamers, filling salad dressing bottles, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have previous experience working in a restaurant

Must be able to use a digital POS (TouchBistro)

Must be able to stand for a majority of a shift 6-10 hours

Must be able to lift 30lbs

Must be able to carry at least five plates at once safely

Must be able to move quickly and adapt to a fast-paced workplace

GRATUITY:

Strong servers make between $100 to upwards of $300/day in gratuities. Servers are required to tip out 3.6% of their total sales (tax included) to the general staff tip pool - which gets split between the Front of House and Back of House.
