Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and garment construction, with experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred. This role involves creating, repairing, and altering clothing or fabric items to meet quality standards and customer specifications. The Seamstress will play a vital part in ensuring our products are crafted with precision and care, contributing to the overall success of our production process.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, sew, and assemble fabric pieces according to patterns and specifications
- Repair and alter garments to ensure proper fit and quality
- Operate sewing machines and other related equipment efficiently and safely
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Follow all safety guidelines and manufacturing protocols during daily tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar sewing role
- Knowledge of various sewing techniques and garment construction methods
- Experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is a plus
- Ability to read patterns, measurements, and technical instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.20-$19.11 per hour
