Overview
As the surgical coordinator of an aesthetic plastic surgery practice, you are responsible for managing patient inquiries, coordinating surgical schedules and procedures, conducting consultations, and providing pre-and post-operative care instructions to patients. You would also manage all invoicing, including vendor payments, medical equipment and account receivables. Also, oversight of all procurement of medical supplies, maintaining optimal inventory levels to support clinic operations. The surgical coordinator will also help to manage marketing projects, including social media and other initiatives, as well as public relations for Dr. Benchetrit's surgical practice.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Handle all invoices, accounts receivable and daily bookkeeping to support financial objectives.
· Manage expenses, sales, and profitability targets.
· Ensure a high standard of client care and satisfaction and resolves client complaints or concerns with professionalism.
· Manages orders and inventory management for medical supplies and equipment
· Consult and forms relationships with all vendors, including managing vendor payments
· Provides pre and post operation guidance and instructions to patients
· Manage all promotion and maintenance of patient awareness regarding all the services available via Dr. Benchetrit
· Manages all the necessary medical documentation required for the surgical institute
· Coordinate and manage surgical schedule with surgical center and Dr Benchetrit
· Assist with marketing initiatives, including social media and public relations.
· Assists in the implementation of new programs and protocols with the team
· Participation in ongoing seminars and training to keep up to date with the latest technologies
· Assist with public relations for Dr. Benchetrit
· General reception/filing/secretarial duties when needed
Requirements
- Must be completely Bilingual (English/French)
- Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or private clinical setting
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and surgical procedures
- Familiarity with Microsoft systems and Zenoti system is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong analysis skills to evaluate workflows and improve processes
- Previous experience coordinating pediatric surgeries is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate approach to patient interactions and excellent communication skills
This role is essential in supporting the surgical department during a temporary staffing period. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
