Maple Leaf Disposal is looking for qualified drivers to come join British Columbia's fastest growing Disposal company. We are looking for the right people to make us the premier disposal company in the Region.
The Operator ensures safe operation of the truck, while driving, unloading and loading. The Operator drives to customer locations for pick up, and hoists bin into truck to empty contents. The Operator proceeds to subsequent customers until the truck has a full load at a transfer station before continuing customer pick ups.
General Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Perform and record daily pre-trip and safety checks
· Check gas, oil and other fluid levels, replenishing when needed
· Complete any necessary paperwork required by dispatch with regards to weighing/recording materials
· Maintain routine communication with dispatch
· Maintain professional appearance and conduct as a representative of our company
· Ensure all loads are secured and hauled in a safe manner
· Ensure road safe conduct
What we require:
· Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License - MANUAL
· Clean Drivers Abstract
· Roll-off truck experience of at least 2 years
· Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
· Able to fluently read, write and speak in the English language
· Good interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, co-workers and dispatch
· Ability to follow and adhere to our company's policies and procedures
· Good knowledge of the Lower Mainland
· Demonstrates the ability to maneuver truck in tight spaces

Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
