Standard Motors Autobody is looking for a customer-focused, organized, and motivated Body Shop Estimator / Front Office Assistant to join our growing team in Swift Current.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, is detail-oriented, and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive collision repair industry. You'll work alongside an experienced Body Shop Manager and a highly skilled team of collision repair technicians who are committed to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Previous collision estimating or SGI claims experience is considered a strong asset, but we're willing to train the right individual with the right attitude and customer service skills.
What You'll Do
As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play a key role in creating a positive repair experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcome customers and guide them through the repair process.
- Prepare and assist with vehicle damage estimates.
- Work with SGI insurance claims and communicate with adjusters.
- Coordinate repair documentation and insurance paperwork.
- Schedule customer appointments and vehicle drop-offs.
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Communicate with technicians and the Body Shop Manager regarding repair progress.
- Assist with parts coordination and administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate repair files and documentation.
- Help ensure a professional, organized front office environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an autobody shop, dealership, or automotive service environment.
- Experience preparing estimates or working with collision repair software.
- Knowledge of SGI claims procedures and insurance processes.
- Experience with administrative or office support.
