Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented drywaller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction drywall board/Tape, painting and possess a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role requires an individual who is capable of interpreting blueprints and working collaboratively with other tradespeople to achieve high-quality finishes on residential and commercial projects.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to a variety of surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Perform drywall repairs and caulking as necessary to ensure smooth surfaces before painting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring that all finishes meet company standards.
Requirements
- Should have class 5 license
- Proven experience in construction painting or a related field.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques.
- Strong skills in caulking, sanding, and surface preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety practices related to painting and construction work is essential.
