JOB DESCRIPTION
A Service Advisor is responsible for interacting with customers, assessing their mechanical/tire needs and providing recommendations for sales/services.
Duties and Responsibilities
A Service Advisor is responsible for performing the following duties:
- Interacting with customers, assessing their needs and providing recommendations for sales/services of tires and repairs.
- Preparing quotations for sales/services.
- Preparing accurate and complete work orders and obtaining customer approval before the commencement of work.
- Invoicing labour and associated inventory in accordance with company policies.
- Capturing all deferred work.
- Participate alongside staff in inventory management.
The hours in the Sales Department are 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Each member of the Sales Department works an 8 hour shift, either 7:30am – 4:30pm, 8:00am – 5:00pm, or 8:30am – 5:30pm.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in the automotive and/or tire industry
- Strong ability to operate computer software
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License
- Ability to work well under pressure
