Greenwoods Dental & Surgical Centres are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. Pay rate: Varies with experience and abilities of the candidate.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain company electrical systems, including low voltage wiring and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete wiring, conduit runs, panel setups, and system upgrades.
- Conduct renovation projects by upgrading existing electrical infrastructure in commercial or industrial settings.
- Diagnose electrical issues by analyzing schematics and system behaviors; implement effective solutions promptly.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and code regulations.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to coordinate electrical work seamlessly within project timelines.
- Helping other maintenance trade team with various other projects
- Might be required to perform some general driving duties for the company to deliver materials and products .
Requirements
- Valid journeyman/woman electrician license with proven experience in commeri cial or industrial settings.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with precision.
- Hands-on experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and schematics interpretation.
- Prior construction experience with a focus on electrical installations or renovations.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices for industrial environments.
- Additional handyman skills or general construction experience are considered a plus.
