Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part-Time Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations
- Address guest inquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for order entry, bill calculation, and cash handling
- Experience in serving, upselling, and hospitality is advantageous but training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: $18.50-$23.00 per hour
