Job Summary
Able to trouble shoot and conduct repairs on life safety systems (including fire alarm, emergency lighting, suppression systems, gas detection etc.).
Conduct ULC test inspections on various fire alarm & suppression systems.
Assist in estimating repair and installation requirements.
Co-ordinate project tasks with customers, team members and other on site trades.
Provide technical support to customers as needed.
Provide operational training to end-users as needed.
Able to assist programmer with fire alarm panel upgrades / retrofits.
Carry out other misc. duties as would be expected of a Fire Alarm Technician.
Prepared to accept after hours and weekend 24/7 service calls on a rotational basis.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience in Life Safety service industry.
CFAA Registered.
Working knowledge of all relevant ULC standards, OBC and OFC.
Must be proficient with computer hardware & software.
Ability to communicate in English, both oral & written.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Valid driver's licence with clean driver abstract.
Clean criminal background check.
Possess a professional demeanor with both customers & fellow co-workers.

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
