Location: Fully Remote - Open to candidates in the U.S. and Canada
We are hiring someone to build and implement team structures inside growing businesses, not just advise on them.
At 4-Level Coach, we work with builders and trade business owners to help them get out of the day-to-day, build strong teams, and create scalable companies.
Your role is to take that vision and turn it into reality inside their business.
You'll work directly with clients to design their team structure, identify gaps, and help them hire and develop the right people, then stay involved through execution to ensure it actually works.
Key Responsibilities
- Break down a client's current team structure and identify gaps
- Design clear org charts aligned with growth goals
- Define roles, responsibilities, and accountability across the team
- Implement our Time Finder System to help owners step out of daily operations
- Write job ads that attract high-quality candidates
- Support and guide clients through interviews and hiring decisions
- Build onboarding and role clarity systems for new hires
- Help develop leadership within client teams
- Create and refine core people systems (handbooks, role scorecards, etc.)
- Act as a hands-on implementation partner, not just a strategist
- You've built or significantly improved teams inside a business
- You understand how team structure impacts growth, not just culture
- You can move between strategy and execution without hesitation
- You're comfortable working directly with business owners and pushing their thinking
- You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience building, restructuring, or scaling teams inside a business environment
- Strong understanding of org design, role clarity, and accountability structures
- Experience supporting or leading hiring processes (job ads, interviews, selection)
- Ability to translate business goals into team structure and hiring priorities
- Comfortable working directly with business owners and leadership teams
- Demonstrated ability to move from strategy to execution without losing momentum
- Strong communication skills, able to simplify complex ideas and drive clarity
- High level of ownership and accountability for outcomes, not just deliverables
Preferred (Not Required, But Valuable)
- Experience in construction, trades, or home services industries
- Background in operations, people ops, or business coaching/consulting
- Experience building onboarding systems or employee development frameworks
- Familiarity with scaling small to mid-sized businesses (not just corporate environments)
Pay and Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
- 3 weeks paid vacation, 5 sick days, and your birthday off.
- Fully remote (occasional travel for training or meetings).
- Occasional after-hours meetings as needed.
