We are looking for a Powersports & Marine Mechanic/Technician with motorcycle experience to join our Cranbrook location. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, organized, self-motivated technician. Must have motorcycle mechanical experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform mechanical repairs and diagnose units
- Complete work orders effectively and accurately
- Suggest areas of improvements in workflow and shop maintenance
- Bring and maintain hand tool essentials for the job
- Look for appropriate upsells on customer machines and communicate to service advisor
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology’s, repair techniques and industry standards
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
- Create inter-department relationships
- Follow company policy in using the shop for personal use
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- REQUIREMENTS
- Motorcycle Mechanical experience – industry experience preferred
- Good health and physical mobility
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving abstract
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lb
