Logistics and Field Operations Manager
CP Water Hauling is seeking a Logistics and Field Operations Manager to join our team. We are looking for a high-energy, creative, and solution-oriented leader to manage our water and vacuum truck operators across drilling sites in Alberta and Western Canada.

Responsibilities
- Personnel & Logistics: Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of field operators. Manage operator scheduling, strategic equipment allocation, and field-level HR requests (switch-outs, time off).
- Operational Hub: Maintain the master dispatch and scheduling sheet with 100% accuracy to ensure it serves as a reliable reference for all team members.
- Field Leadership: Conduct regular site visits to perform evaluations and provide real-time coaching. Review field reports daily to ensure all projects are staffed properly and running at peak efficiency.
- Safety Ownership: Foster a 'safety-first' environment through the daily oversight of JHAs and FLHAs, taking immediate action to address hazards and ensure every team member stays protected. Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Strategic Partnership: Work side-by-side with the Operations Manager to synchronize equipment deployment and ensure both mechanical and field operations run smoothly.
- Field Support: Serve as the primary on-call point of contact for day-to-day field issues, coordinating with the Operations Manager to ensure constant, real-time coverage.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in the Oil and Gas industry, with 5+ years specifically in drilling rig fluid management.
- Leadership: 3+ years of proven supervisor or management experience.
- Safety & Compliance: Thorough knowledge of employment standards and occupational safety.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate with clients and employees at all levels.
- Requirements: Class 3 Driver’s License and valid safety tickets (H2S Alive, First Aid/CPR, and CSO).
Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
