Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supervised Senior ABA Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with developmental and behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will work under supervision to implement individualized treatment plans, support children's progress, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes. Duties
- Implement evidence-based ABA therapy programs tailored to each child's needs, following prescribed treatment plans.
- Collect and record accurate data on child behaviors, progress, and response to interventions using electronic medical records systems.
- Support children during therapy sessions, fostering a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with supervising clinicians to modify interventions based on data analysis and observed behaviors.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding progress, strategies, and any concerns, providing guidance for reinforcement at home.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, observations, and data collection in compliance with organizational policies.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or interns as needed, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in educational, clinical, or therapeutic settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of special education principles and patient care practices related to behavioral health.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and developmental disorders.
- Experience using electronic medical records for documentation and data management.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform treatment adjustments.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills essential for working effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to ethical standards in clinical practice.
- Relevant certifications or training in ABA or related fields are a plus but not mandatory; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
