Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and gardening, with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the beautification and health of outdoor spaces while developing valuable skills in plant care and landscape management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve outdoor landscapes through planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, pruners, and rakes to perform routine gardening tasks
- Use power tools including trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers for landscape upkeep
- Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
- Perform landscape maintenance activities such as edging, fertilizing, and soil aeration
- Monitor plant health and identify pests or diseases for appropriate treatment or reporting
- Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Qualifications
- Experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is required
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is a plus
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is desirable
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for outdoor work
- Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Pay: $17.59-$29.48 per hour
