SENIOR HSE FIELD COORDINATOR

A growing construction organization is seeking a Senior Health, Safety & Environmental Field Coordinator to support active projects across Ontario.
This position is ideal for a safety professional who enjoys being in the field, building relationships with operations teams, mentoring others, and driving a strong culture of safety across multiple construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
- Support implementation of company-wide HSE programs
- Investigate incidents and near misses and assist with corrective action planning
- Ensure compliance with OHSA, COR, ISO standards, and company policies
- Mentor and support HSE Coordinators
- Deliver safety training and maintain certification compliance
- Analyze safety trends and recommend improvement initiatives
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning
- Collaborate closely with project and operational leadership teams
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of construction safety experience
- Strong field-based HSE background
- Knowledge of OHSA, COR, ISO 14001, and construction safety regulations
- Experience conducting audits and investigations
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- CRSP, CSP, or NCSO designation considered an asset
- Experience with HSE management software and Microsoft Office
