Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special treatments tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and offering expert advice on hairstyles and hair care products.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff alike.
- Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication skills, encouraging repeat visits and referrals.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices to continually elevate your craft.
Experience
- Proven experience in professional hair styling within a salon or similar environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures related to hair care tools and salon hygiene standards.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products naturally while maintaining genuine client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills for clear consultations and team collaboration.
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
