Hair Inc Academy is a accredited and licensed post secondary institution for hairstylists and barbers. As innovative leaders, our goal is to inspire others with a like minded team of educators and leaders where we provide a new concept way of training future artists. Hair Inc Academy is looking for a part-time Teacher for our Edmonton, AB school. The ideal candidate is a positive, kind, energetic, and dedicated individual who enjoys teaching and sharing knowledege and demonstrating valid skills.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Teach cosmetology theory and practical skills to students
- Teach lesson plans and course materials that align with Alberta provincial cosmetology curriculum requirements
- Evaluate and assess student progress, provide feedback and grading
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom and salon environment
- Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and school policies
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to improve the quality of education as we are always learning new techniques
Requirements:
- Valid cosmetology license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching cosmetology preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetology techniques, tools, and products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Dependable attendance
- Strong communucation in fluent english
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
