Field Service IT Technician
At Kelly, we are currently hiring Field Service IT Technicians to support our client in Duncan, BC. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support to clients, including hardware, networking, and troubleshooting services. This is a sporadic, on-call position based on ticket assignments.
What We Offer:
- Position Type: Sporadic / On-call (ticket-based)
- Pay Rate: $26-$28/hour + 4% vacation pay
- Mileage reimbursement for designated travel
- Schedule: Availability required between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hardware, networking, and troubleshooting (field experience is an asset)
- At least 6 months of proven customer service experience (required)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good technical and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- A+ Certification or equivalent experience
- Ability to perform on-site service calls
Requirements:
- Must own a vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, and console cable
- Basic tool kit required
- Must be available to travel as needed
- Comfortable handling sporadic tickets, primarily server-related
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required, as some tickets may start late
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair PCs, laptops, servers, printers, and POS systems
- Install and repair IT hardware
- Perform network troubleshooting
- Install and repair printers
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Execute IMAC projects (Installations, Moves, Adds, and Changes)
- Maintain accurate service inventory tracking
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Communicate professionally and effectively
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing preventive maintenance advice and optimal system configurations
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
