Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling and transaction processing
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information on merchandise
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including cash handling and balancing drawers
- Support inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and product organization
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
- Assist in training new team members on POS systems and customer service standards
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or technical sales preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills required
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and phone etiquette essential for success
