Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating fresh, delicious sandwiches and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to Subway standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their menu selections, upselling items when appropriate.
- Operate the POS system (Micros POS) accurately for order processing and cash handling.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, providing correct change and processing payments efficiently.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout the shift.
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient cashiering.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving or kitchen work is advantageous.
