Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and experienced Server to join our hospitality team. You will be responsible for providing attentive service, maintaining menu knowledge, and ensuring every guest leaves with a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver food and beverages while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order entry and payment processing.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Promote menu specials and upsell food and beverage items when appropriate.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of serving experience in a high-volume restaurant or pub (Required).
- Valid Smart Serve Certification (Required).
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is required.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is an asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
