Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Print Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating printing equipment efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality output. The Print Operator plays a vital role in producing printed materials that meet company standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various printing machines to produce high-quality prints according to specifications
- Set up printing equipment, including loading materials and adjusting settings for optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing machinery to minimize downtime
- Inspect printed products for quality, accuracy, and consistency, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production deadlines are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with packaging finished products for shipment or storage as needed
Skills
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Experience with preflight processes for digital print files is an asset
- Familiarity with design fundamentals and color spaces is an asset
- Strong attention to detail to ensure print quality and accuracy, with good file organization and naming habits
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn new skills is essential
Pay: $17.34-$25.00 per hour
