Automotive Mechanic Apprentice

Royal Fix Auto Repair is looking for a motivated and reliable Automotive Mechanic Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the automotive industry while gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced technicians.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Rotate, balance, and install tires.
- Assist with brake inspections and brake repairs.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report findings to senior technicians.
- Assist licensed technicians with diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
- Replace basic automotive components under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Test drive vehicles when authorized and legally permitted.
- Assist with general shop duties as required.
Qualifications
- Passion for the automotive industry and willingness to learn.
- Previous mechanical experience or enrollment in an Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship program is an asset but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence is an asset.
