Copper Tip Energy Services is seeking a self-motivated, well-rounded individual with a positive attitude to fulfill the role of Parts Technician in our Bonnyville AB location. The successful candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to cooperate and contribute within a team environment. Able to build and nurture relationships with the field staff and mechanical staff to become the direct line for sourcing and purchasing parts. Candidate must have experience and knowledge in Nitrogen and Fluid pumping.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
· Accountable for managing all aspects of parts inventory and shop consumables at the Nisku location and working with all Canadian and US branches.
· Maintain a clean work environment.
· Create excellent working relationships with vendors.
· Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
· Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
· Record keeping for parts warranty.
· Receiving stock for the purpose of organization and quality control of correct orders.
· Sourcing best value and cost for parts inventory.
· Creation of work orders and purchase orders.
· Other duties as required.
Skills
· Fluent in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word)
· Good computers skills, able to learn new programs.
· Heavy duty equipment experiences an asset.
· Oil and Gas experience an asset.
· Forklift experience an asset.
· Willingness and commitment to learning within the position.
Schedule
· Monday to Friday
· 8 hr. day with occasional overtime
· After hours support may be required when parts logistics is needed for emergency repairs
