The Role: What You’ll Do
As an Enterprise Software Developer, you will be responsible for the core systems that keep our clients thriving. You will design and implement robust, high-throughput software architectures that handle heavy workloads with absolute precision.
- Architect for Scale: Design, build, and maintain mission-critical enterprise applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Optimize Performance: Identify bottlenecks, refactor legacy code bases, and ensure our systems are lightning-fast, secure, and highly available.
- Integrate & Innovate: Seamlessly bridge the gap between disparate enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and large-scale databases.
- Lead by Example: Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and advocate for best-in-class engineering practices (CI/CD, TDD).
- Collaborate: Partner with systems architects, product managers, and security teams to turn complex corporate requirements into elegant software solutions.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Experience: 4+ years of professional experience developing large-scale, distributed enterprise applications.
- The Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in backend languages typically used in enterprise environments (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, C#/.NET Core, or Enterprise Python) coupled with strong modern frontend knowledge (React, Angular, or TypeScript).
- Data Mastery: Robust experience with enterprise-grade databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions, including heavy query optimization.
- Cloud & DevOps Savvy: Proven experience building on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and working with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Local Presence: Currently living in, or willing to relocate to, Edmonton, AB with the ability to work a hybrid schedule.
- Eligibility: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
