We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about culinary arts, flexible under pressure, and able to work in a fast-paced, large-scale kitchen environment. Beyond technical cooking skills, we value team players who embody Irish hospitality, bring creativity to the kitchen, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items consistently and according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in kitchen management, including inventory, cleanliness, and food safety practices.
- Work collaboratively with chefs, servers, and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Demonstrate strong culinary skills, including creativity in food preparation and plating.
- Adapt quickly to high-volume service and maintain composure under pressure.
- Support crowd flow during peak hours with efficient kitchen operations.
- Contribute to a positive and enthusiastic work environment aligned with Irish pub culture.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role preferred.
- Food Safety - Required
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Culinary training or relevant certifications an asset.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and a strong team player.
- Ability to work efficiently in a large-scale kitchen.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
