Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician with Fire Alarm experience to join our team. This role involves installing, servicing, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems and electrical components across various sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm panels, fire safety equipment, and low-voltage systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system faults and technical issues efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations accurately.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform job efficiently.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and system configurations
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper integration of electrical components within building frameworks
Experience
- Journeyman Electrician certification or apprenticeship experience
- CFAA Certified Fire Alarm Technician, or industry experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract
- Familiar with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to fire alarm systems and electrical wiring
- Mechanical knowledge applicable to system installation and troubleshooting processes
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, sensors, low voltage wiring, and control panels
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards related to electrical work, NFPA, and fire alarm systems installation
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in completing documentation and using computer applications and software.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour
