CCI Is currently looking for a Core Cutter to work at one of our remote work sites. The primary duties of this position will be splitting core using a diamond saw, bagging and tagging the cut samples, and organizational management of the cut samples.
Job Description:
- Core cutting/splitting with sampling as required.
- Preparation and maintenance of exploration databases.
- Liaising with drilling contractor and client as required.
- Mark and cut drill core
- Bag and prepare samples to be sent to the lab
- Able to lift 50 lbs repetitively
- Training will be provided on site
Job Requirements:
- Previous core cutting experience required
- Must be available and ready to work
- Able to manage paperwork requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients
- Camp job working 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off
- Work on special projects
- 12-hour day
- Must be reliable and responsible
