Summary
We’re looking for Truck and Transport Technicians to join our growing team on both the day and night shifts. In this role, you’ll work on a wide range of heavy trucks, trailers, and equipment. No two days are the same. You’ll take pride in doing the job right, keeping vehicles safe, and supporting a team that values respect, safety, hard work, and hard work.

This role is on the night shift - 2:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m., Monday–Thursday
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Perform motor vehicle inspections and document findings clearly and professionally.
- Uphold safety standards in the shop and during off-site service calls.
- Prepare and manage work orders, including labour times, job notes, and parts accuracy.
- Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues. No surprises, just honest updates.
- Safely and confidently operate shop equipment (forklifts, overhead crane, power tools, etc.).
- Participate in the on-call and weekend rotation as needed.
- Pitch in with general shop upkeep and support the team wherever needed.
What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years’ experience as a licensed Truck & Transport Technician, or enrollment as a third- or fourth-year apprentice.
- Motor Vehicle Inspection tester license preferred, or the willingness to obtain.
- Availability for either Day Shift or Night Shift (see above).
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
- Strong understanding of diesel and spark ignition engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and powertrains.
- Experience using diagnostic scan tools and interpreting repair information.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and work instructions.
- A commitment to safety, accuracy, and high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and manual dexterity.
