Position Overview
RPN provides the following services for DIABETES patients ONLY:
- Risk evaluation of patient developing feet complications
- Feet care (evaluation of feet condition, nails maintenance, calluses and corn removal, etc.)
- Diabetes and feet care education, which includes awareness of personal risk factors, importance having feet inspected annually by a health care professional, daily self-inspection of feet, proper nail and skin care, injury prevention, and when to seek help etc.
PERMANENT PART-TIME POSITION 0.4 FTE
Current Schedule: Days shifts, between Monday and Friday

What we are looking for
- Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- College level courses in specialized foot care
- Experience in foot Care, an asset
- 2 years of experience in patient care
- Current C.P.R. certification
- Good assessment skills
- Demonstrate autonomy in their work
- Possess a working knowledge of both official languages
- Must have a good attendance record
- Must have a positive attitude in compliance with HGH’s values
- Satisfactory review of the Human resources file
