TAC Sports is seeking a full-time
Learn-to-Bike and Trail Biking Camp Instructor to lead engaging, active programming for children ages
3.5 to 12. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children, thrives in an outdoor, high-energy environment, and is passionate about helping kids build confidence, coordination, and physical literacy through movement and play. Candidates will play an important role in creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where young children can learn new skills, stay active, and enjoy a positive camp experience.

Lead beginner bike sessions for children ages 3.5 to 12 in a safe, fun, and age-appropriate environment

Teach foundational biking skills, including balance, starting, stopping, steering, and safety

Ensure proper helmet use, supervise participants closely, and maintain a safe riding environment

Set up, inspect, and maintain bikes and equipment before and after sessions
-
Create an inclusive and engaging atmosphere that encourages participation, confidence, and teamwork
-
Support camp activities, supervise transitions and breaks, and assist with daily setup and cleanup
-
Adapt instruction and activities to meet different ages, abilities, and confidence levels
-
Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm
-
Follow TAC Sports’ program plans, safety procedures, and supervision standards
-
Communicate clearly with staff and parents and contribute to a strong team environment
-
Experience working with young children in camps, recreation, sports, education, or early childhood settings
-
Comfortable riding a bike and teaching beginner-level biking skills
-
Energetic, patient, and confident leading groups in an active outdoor setting
-
Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
-
Ability to remain active throughout the program day

Background in early childhood education, recreation, kinesiology, sports instruction, or a related field is an asset

First Aid/CPR certification and Vulnerable Sector Check, or willingness to obtain them, preferred
