Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Stocking Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a friendly demeanor to assist customers and support store operations effectively. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or merchandising are a plus, as they help provide exceptional service to diverse customers.
Responsibilities
- Restock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are properly organized and labeled
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock areas
- Assist customers with locating products and answer inquiries using excellent communication skills
- Operate POS systems for transactions when necessary, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Conduct product demos and upselling to promote sales of featured items
- Manage inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays to attract customer attention
- Uphold store policies on safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards
- Use time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or customer service preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities (English and other languages) are a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Ability to perform cashier duties including cash handling and phone etiquette
- Knowledge of retail tools such as POS systems and product displays
- Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Friendly attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
