Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with a range of tools and machinery. The Welder will contribute to the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and precision at all times.
Duties
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal parts according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine welding specifications
- Operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, and power tools to shape and assemble metal components
- Use calipers, hand tools, and machining equipment to measure, cut, and assemble parts accurately
- Rigging and positioning materials using cranes or forklifts for welding or assembly processes
- Conduct quality inspections of welds and finished products to ensure compliance with standards
- Assist in the assembly of ductwork, structural components, or mechanical systems as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper handling of materials
Qualifications
- Proven experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and blueprint reading
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing, construction, or ductwork applications
- Familiarity with crane operation, forklifts, press brake machines, machining tools, calipers, hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
- Knowledge of rigging procedures and safety standards in industrial settings
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.95-$47.90 per hour
