Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Take orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS, ensuring prompt service
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Comply with all food handling regulations and safety protocols within the hospitality industry
- Assist in setting up the bar for events or special occasions as required
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially as a bartender or server
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a friendly personality that fosters guest satisfaction
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of legal alcohol service regulations
