Role Description The Quality Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position based in Surrey, BC, responsible for supporting and maintaining quality standards across projects and operations. This role involves coordinating quality control activities, assisting in the implementation and monitoring of quality management systems, and preparing documentation, reports, and records related to inspections and audits. The Quality Coordinator will perform data analysis to identify trends, support root-cause investigations, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, facilitating communication on quality issues, and assisting with internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives and helps train team members on quality procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Quality Control and Quality Management skills to support inspection processes, maintain standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Quality Auditing skills to assist with internal and external audits, prepare audit documentation, and help ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends and deviations, support root-cause analysis, and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare clear reports, and support training on quality procedures.
- Relevant experience in quality coordination or a similar role within manufacturing, construction, or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
- Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, continuous improvement principles) is an asset.
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic data management tools for documentation and reporting.
- Post-secondary education in engineering, quality management, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
