Tour Driver-Guides (Temporary)

$25/hour + tips
Season: August – October 2026
Supernova Tours is hiring a professional Tour Driver-Guide for the remainder of the tourism season. We operate premium small-group tours in modern minivans (maximum 5 guests + driver) and focus on delivering high-quality, personalized experiences throughout Nova Scotia.
Positions Available
Casual Seasonal (1 positions)
- 1–3 days per week
- Approximately 9–27 hours per week
- May occasionally be called in on short notice
Scheduled tour days typically begin between 7:00–9:00 AM and return between 4:00–6:00 PM.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate company minivans on guided day tours
- Deliver a friendly, engaging, and professional guest experience
- Share Nova Scotia’s history and highlights (training provided)
- Assist guests entering and exiting vehicles as needed
- Represent Supernova Tours with professionalism and pride
Requirements
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license (or willingness to obtain one — we will assist)
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable driving for extended periods
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check (required prior to employment)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Assets (Preferred but Not Required)
- Professional driving experience (tourism, shuttle, bus, delivery, etc.)
- Tourism or hospitality experience
- Familiarity with Nova Scotia’s history and landmarks
- Ability to speak multiple languages
