Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and supporting smooth restaurant operations. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and food industry best practices within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and serve food in a timely manner
- Manage cashier responsibilities with accuracy, including handling cash and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure adherence to all food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to maintain sanitation standards and work in a clean environment
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
