Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various powder press. This includes Setup and running of the press equipment and ensuring high-quality production standards. This role requires strong commitment to safety and quality. The Press Operator plays a vital role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the efficient creation of precision powder pressed components. Full Training will be provided and there is room for growth.
Duties
- Operate and monitor powder press operation.
- Feed Powder to hoppers, make necessary adjustments to press as required
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment
- Read and interpret work orders and setup instruction to ensure accurate fabrication
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for quality inspection and precision adjustments
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure adherence to standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve processes requirements
Requirements:
- Proficiency in using hand tools, calipers, and measuring devices for quality inspection
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during setup and inspection
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to mechanical operation and material handling
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
