Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer or 2nd–3rd Year Carpenter to join our growing SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) manufacturing team in High River. This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment, assisting with the fabrication and assembly of high-performance building panels. The ideal candidate is hands-on, energetic, and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and interest in construction or carpentry. This is a full-time position offering consistent hours, paid breaks, medical benefits, and opportunities for advancement as the company continues to grow.
Duties
- Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs)
Note:
Previous experience is not required—we are willing to train the right candidate who is hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn. Manufacturing facility is all indoors.
- Measure, cut, and handle materials using basic tools such as tape measures, saws, and hammers
- Operate equipment and machinery (including forklifts, if certified or willing to learn)
- Follow production plans and ensure accuracy in measurements and assembly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Load, unload, and move materials as required
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
- Note: Previous experience is not required—we are willing to train the right candidate who is hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and reliability (shows up on time, ready to work)
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and work on your feet throughout the day
- Basic ability to use or learn tools such as a tape measure, hammer, and saw
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
- Forklift experience is an asset (or willingness to be trained)
- Carpentry or framing experience is an asset but not required
