We work closely with physicians, clinics, and patient support programs to support patients navigating chronic and specialty conditions, ensuring timely access, seamless care, and optimal outcomes.
Located in downtown Calgary, Capsule Pharmacy is growing rapidly and expanding its team. We are seeking a full-time Pharmacist who is clinically driven, detail-oriented, and motivated to practice at a higher level within a collaborative specialty care environment.
Position Overview
This role offers the opportunity to go beyond traditional dispensing and play an active role in clinical care, therapy access, and patient journey management. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patients through complex medication pathways while delivering exceptional care and service.

- Prescribing authority (APA) is strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care including counseling, therapy initiation, and follow-up monitoring
- Support patients with care coordination and medication access pathway navigation
- Collaborate with physicians and clinic teams to facilitate timely and appropriate therapy initiation
- Perform clinical assessments and identify opportunities to optimize therapy outcomes
- Ensure accurate, safe, and compliant dispensing in accordance with Alberta College of Pharmacy standards
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation within Kroll and other workflow systems
- Contribute to workflow efficiency and continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
- Valid liability insurance
- Certification to administer injections
- Experience with Kroll Pharmacy Software
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience
- Strong multitasking ability and clinical judgment
- Additional Prescribing Authority (APA)
Preferred:
- Experience in specialty pharmacy or managing biologics/complex therapies
