Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. Duties
- Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles to transport goods to various locations according to schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to proper handling procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in driving commercial trucks or similar vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
- Excellent navigation and route planning abilities
- Good physical stamina for long hours on the road and handling cargo
- Attention to detail for safety inspections and documentation compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards
Verifieable Experience Required 1-2 years on hwy11/17 - Must Have
Pay: $6,000.00-$7,000.00 per month
