Overview
We are a professional accounting firm based in Vanccouver, BC, dedicated to providing high-quality accounting and tax services to our clients. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team.
Duties
- Prepare and review bookkeeping and accounting files
- Prepare and organize financial records and supporting documents
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
- Assist with compilation engagements and year-end financial statement preparation
- Communicate with clients and team members as required
- Maintain accurate records and ensure work is completed on schedule
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public practice
- Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with CaseWare and CaseView is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF software
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
- Quick learner with a positive attitude and adaptability to new systems and processes
- Willingness to work overtime during peak tax season (March–April)
