Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Person and Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards, and deliver exceptional food service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation and handling, and a passion for providing high-quality dining experiences. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly to meet quality standards
- Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Assist in serving customers efficiently and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor storage practices
- Train new staff on food safety, cooking techniques, and service standards
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold restaurant standards
- Support the team during busy periods to ensure timely service
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or kitchen supervision
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in food quality and safety compliance
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed
- Food handling certification or relevant training is a plus
Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
